1:1-2. Someone asked, "Will the world be destroyed, or not?"
Jesus said, "Everything that exists and has form will one day perish."
1:3-5. Peter said, "Alright just one more question- what is sin?"
Jesus said, "Sin only exists when you screw up. That's why the Good will help restore peace and order within you. It's part of being mortal, you like what is bad for you.
1:6. Jesus said, "God has no image, because they are transcendent and not of this world.
This will be confusing for your mind to handle.
That’s why I told you to find peace in your heart.
If you are troubled, try finding peace in the wonders of nature.”
1:7. Jesus said, “Peace and blessings to you! Do not let anyone trick you by saying God is anywhere but inside yourself. Follow there! Those who seek will find.”
1:8. Jesus said, “Go and teach what I’ve told you about Heaven. Don’t add any rules.” Then he left and died.
1:9. His friends started crying. They said, “How can we go and teach to those who have never heard about God or Heaven before? If they killed Jesus, imagine what they will do to us.”
1:10. But then Mary stepped up. She said, “Calm down friends, don’t let your heart break, Jesus is still with us and will hold us together. We should remember him fondly because he taught us good things.”
1:11. She helped them see the Good, and they turned towards discussion of the teachings.
1:12. Peter said to Mary, “Sister, we know Jesus loved you more than all other women. What exactly do you remember? Is there anything you heard that we didn’t?”
1:13-14. Mary started speaking. “Alright, well, when I saw Jesus in a vision, I told him that I did. He then said that because I was able to able to handle it, I was blessed. He said, ‘Where the mind is, there is the treasure.’
1:15. So then I said, ‘Lord, do we see these visions with our soul, or our spirit?”
1:16. And Jesus said back, ‘You don’t see it with the soul or the spirit- but the mind- which lies in between the two.”
1:13-24. Mary continues to discuss the soul’s journey and battle with darkness, desire, ignorance, death, flesh, foolishness, and anger.
1:25. She then said, “What had once tied up my soul is gone, everything overwhelming me is gone, my desire is gone, and my ignorance is gone. Now I am released into the world.”
1:26. She then stopped speaking suddenly, because Jesus had been with her and speaking with her during this.
1:27. Andrew broke the silence, “I’m not sure Mary, these seem like some crazy ideas."
1:28. Peter spoke up too, "Are you trying to say Jesus spoke with a woman without us knowing? Do you expect us to turn around and start following you? Did Jesus prefer you to us?"
1:29. This hurt Mary’s feelings, and she started crying, "What are you trying to say, brother? Are you really accusing me of imagining this, or lying about it? "
1:30-31. Then Levi said to Peter, “Peter, you’ve always been an asshole. Now you’re arguing with her like an enemy. But if Jesus revealed this to her- who are you to say otherwise? Surely Jesus knows her very well. That’s why he loved her more than us. We should be humble, remember our humanity, and teach what he taught us, not adding any other rules or laws other than what he said.”
1:32. Then they all left and started to teach.
